The Bureau of Personnel Resources is the largest recruitment and placement service in the field of Jewish Education. Individual schools are invited to retain the Bureau to act as their agent in the recruitment of Jewish Studies teachers, principals and executive personnel with a strong background in yeshiva/day school education.
The Bureau functions as an arm of Torah Umesorah, the central address for Jewish Studies educators here and abroad, making it the ideal forum for yeshiva/day school personnel recruitment.
The Bureau culls its current dossier of candidates principally from Torah Umesorah's Career Development Center, a highly regarded clearinghouse for placement inquiries from Jewish-education professionals in North America and Israel. Because the Bureau is a non-profit service acting as the school's agent, its mandate is to sponsor the best candidate, be it a Bureau nominee, a candidate referred by a third party or an incumbent.
Candidates are scrupulously screened and evaluated. Nominations are made to the client school only after Bureau recruitment consultants have met with school representatives and job candidates to assess their respective goals and concerns.
