Vision:

Every teacher and every school benefit from the vast amounts of time, energy, and money saved through the Teachers Center. We provide the supplies, curricula and equipment at cost, and all classes, courses and educational mentoring are free of charge to all educators. As a result, everyone wins: the teachers have access to everything they could possibly need, the schools can raise their standards while lowering their costs, and most of all, the students benefit by enjoying a wellrounded curriculum as well as refreshed and excited teachers.

Impact:

The Torah Umesorah St. Louis Teachers Center is designed to facilitate the best practices across the board in every area of Jewish education, whether it is beginning alef-bais, high school level chumash, or teaching math and science. There are three main areas of collaboration with St. Louis educators:

Creative Innovation:

The Center provides access to a vast collection of top-quality materials, timesaving equipment and innovative educational products, culled from hundreds of sources, all available under one roof.

Professional Development:

Workshops: Keeping current with the latest pedagogical research and techniques helps schools maintain high educational standards. We team with the schools to host workshops and presentations by educational experts, all free of charge to teachers.

Technology: The center is equipped with a state-of-the-art computer lab where teachers can utilize a vast collection of specialized computer programs. We also offer technology classes and mentoring on a regular basis.

Resource Library:

Our library provides a comprehensive array of carefully selected sefarim, educational resources, workbooks, audio/video materials, and periodicals for both Limudei Kodesh and General Studies teachers.
