1. first grade should absolutly be the first month like a kindergarden,
thats my experience.
2. i teach my class script letters,as far as i know in most schools( exept for schools in israel)they don`t teach bockletters.
after teaching all teh letters i make the children copy bock written words in script so they learn it anyway in a way.

i`m looking for an example of a reportcard for first grade,any suggestions?
